University of Delaware Concert Choir
Last night we drove to the University of Delaware to listen to our daughter, Megan, perform in the Concert Choir.
Two and a half hours up, two and a half hours back; to listen to a one hour concert.
Gas, tickets, after concert snacks; $100.00

And on the Seventh Day....
The spring cleanup trash was picked up. I am surprised it was this soon, but my neighbor Shelly kept a constant stream of phone calls to town hall, so maybe it worked. I notice the people down the street in the 100 block of East Jewell still have not been serviced but maybe First Street trash filled up the truck.
And has everyone noticed that Second Street has had the utility cuts repaved?

It is Still Here
It will come as no great surprise to anyone who lives in Delmar that my cleanup trash from last week continue to sit in my driveway. Obviously our prayers were not answered. In spite of Kim Layton telling me it would be removed on Monday it is still here. In my last phone call to her today she said it would be up tomorrow. Tomorrow is regular trash pickup in Delmar so I would not be surprised if BFI doesn't just pick it all up. We will see.

Sunday and the Trash is Blowin
It is Sunday and the wind is blowing the pile of Trash from Delmar Cleanup day around my neighborhood. We await for Monday to see if they will pick it up.
