Milano's Pizzeria Is Open

Yes Finally Milano's Pizzeria (20 N. Pennsylvania Ave - 302-846-9066) is open.

Based on the recommendations of the barber, I stopped by for lunch today and was pleased with what I found.

What strikes you as you enter is the wildcat mural is still up but the hamburger has been changed to a pizza.

Our host/waitress/cashier/etc, Charlie O'Brian, is at work

The place is clean and now has a men's bathroom and a women's bathroom and they are completely new and clean.

Charlie insists everything is made fresh - not hauled in on a Sysco truck. The menu is as you can see below - Italian

I ordered the chef salad and it was good - it had a load of meat and cheese on it.

Edgar the owner and the chef

I am glad to see the place back into operation again. It looks like they can handle 24 people sitting down (6 tables - 4 chairs each table). They do delivery but charge a delivery fee. She said to deliver to Pond's Edge would be $2.00.

I was pleased with the place and will eat there again. Stop by I am sure you will enjoy it.

Comments:
So Howard, clear my head, who's the owner the first photo or the two guys in the middle photo. Which one is Italian?

The owner is the one on the left in the photo of the two guys. Does anyone have to be Italian to run an Italian restaurant?

Keep in mind Delmar Pizza's owners are Greek. Milano's are Turkish i think? Look at a map, all are next to each other along the Mediterean.

Looks good!

Does that say WILDRAT OR CAT ecuse me if i am going blind.

Glad to see another business open in the downtown area and even more happy to see this looking so CLEAN!
Hope they keep it that way!

Prices are a bit high on some things.

As a team Delmar was 1st in their region (which is the 10th region). Individually they also did well. Trophies were given for first-third place. Here are the results for their region:

1st: Joshua Lord, Delmar Middle
tie Marshall Saunders, Selbyville Middle
2nd: Nina Chen, Delmar Middle

3rd: Zane Luffman, Delmar Middle

The coaches for the team are Ms. Wille and Ms. Nock.

I have a team picture if you'd like to post it just email me at: tom_luffman@yahoo.com.

Cheers-

Tom "Bunky" Luffman, Jr.

The wings were good and spicy and looked like chicken' the blue cheese dressing had chunks of blue cheese; the celery was not so good. Pizza was good, too. The kids liked it.

Food here is great...and yes, clean place! Really like having Russell's artwork everywhere. Love the pizza
