Location: Delmar Police Department
Date: March 31, 2010
Arrested: Roxanne E. Barger White female, 19 Laurel DE
On 03/31/2010 Barger was extradited from Wicomico county Maryland to Delmar Delaware in reference to a warrant being held by Delmar police. Barger was served with her warrant and held on $3100 bond. Barger was turned over to Delaware State Police in reference to two additional warrants they had for Barger.

Assault Second Degree Recklessly or Intentionally Causes Phys. Injury Weapon
Terroristic Threatening
Reckless Endangering Second degree
Menacing
Criminal Mischief under $1000
Criminal Trespass Second Degree

"April is the cruellest month . . ."
"April is the cruellest month . . ." not only is it the first line of The Waste Land by T. S. Eliot, but April is THE tax month. On top of all the other problems I have been trying to address, the last week has found me trying to reconstruct tax documents etc to file my taxes, which has resulted in very little blogging. Tomorrow I go to the Western Shore to help my daughter move to another apartment and maybe in a few more days I can get back to the burnt house issue again and maybe even make some blogging comments.

Incident: Home Invasion
Location: Chestnut Manor, Delmar, MD
Date: March 26, 2010
Arrested: Darryl Byrd, black male, 24, Fruitland, MD
On 03-26-2010 the Delmar Police Department arrested Darryl Byrd for the Home invasion robbery which occurred on 03-05-10 at Chestnut Manor apartment complex in Delmar, Maryland. The investigation is still ongoing.
Charges:
Armed Robbery
Assault First Degree
Reckless Endangerment
Burglary First Degree
And numerous more robbery charges total of 37
Byrd was processed at the Wicomico County Detention Center where Byrd was held on $300,000.00 bond.

Incident: Criminal Impersonation
Location: Rt 13 @ Thornton Blvd, Delmar, DE
Date: March 26, 2010
Arrested: Nicole Murphy, White Female, 30, Seaford, DE
On 03-26-2010, a Delmar Police Officer encountered Nicole Murphy on a traffic stop on Rt 13 and Thornton Blvd, Delmar DE. While speaking with Murphy she gave a different name to the Officer. The officer learned the true identify of Murphy and placed her under arrest. Murphy had six outstanding warrants thru Delaware.
Charges: Criminal Impersonation
Murphy was processed and released to Sussex Correction Institute. Murphy is being held on $500.00 secured bond.
