And Another No Big Surprise Item

After waiting all day for Verizon to show up in their 9 AM to 5 PM time span I became a bit antsy about 2:30 PM and called in to to check on the order. It seems there was a problem and they wouldn't be out today. They didn't think it was necessary to call me and let me know they weren't coming. Maybe tomorrow.

Did you check out other options? Have been hearing alot about Verizon here lately, and none of it good. Anyway, how rude of them to not even notify you that they wouldn't be there today.

We talked to Comcast and found them to be as screwed up as Verizon. Comcast is another story when they did the internet and cable TV installation. I think Verizon just doesn't want land line phones anymore, there is more money in wireless. Maybe I should look at Magic jack.

They prolly thought since you did did not have a phone yet n one would answer.

We use Vonage Howard and we've had NO problems with it!

We had used Verizon forever, and then they really ticked me off... took some time to consider options, and wound up with Comcast for phone, cable and internet. Had some start up technical difficulties but there were helpful folks on the phones and have not regretted the change.
