Delaware Confederate dies - 1861
Sep 17, 1861 Caleb Ross, son of former Delaware Governor William Ross, died of typhoid fever in Confederate service as an enlisted man in the 9th Virginia Cavalry in Big Spring, Virginia near Luray.
