The Delmarva Volunteer Fireman’s Association Fire Prevention Parade 2011

The Delmarva Volunteer Fireman’s Association held their Fire Prevention Parade Today (at 2PM not the 1 PM I had posted). Lotsa of fire trucks, Lotsa of Little Miss and Miss Fire Preventions, Lotsa of people walking, marching and riding on a warm October afternoon. Made for a good 45 minute parade. I tend not too think about the fact that the color of choice in vehicles for the Miss Fire Prevention is red until I watch one of these parades, of course in today's time with the lack of convertibles you take whatever color the vehicle is and go with it. And again I guess People just are not going to salute the flag when it goes by.

As usual all Delmar Parades start and end with Public Works blocking off streets and the Delmar Police leading and ending the parade.

So many photos forced me to go to the small format (blogger has a memory usage limit) so click on the photo to see it in a larger format.
