The LDGS Christmas Dinner - 2011

My wife and I went to the Lower Delmarva Genealogical Society Christmas dinner at the Whitelock House in Mardela Springs. An enjoyable evening for us, in spite of getting wet when we left the house in the pouring rain.

The Whitelock Victorian Home was purchased and restored in 2009. It is furnished with many beautiful period pieces. It is one of ten buildings in the Adkins Historical and Museum Complex. The home is used for small dinners and teas by various families and groups for everything from Teas to birthday parties to dinners. They can supply the food or you can have a caterer deliver. The house is idea for small as in from ten to twenty five people but they can do larger group in their lodge hall. I understand they have a number of still open nights in December so if you are interested Phone:410-677-4740 and leave a message or E-mail:
