Yes it is that time of the year again - Sept 30 to Oct 6 is Banned Book Week. It’s ironic that Banned Books Week, a celebration of our freedom to read sponsored by the American Library Association, the American Booksellers Association, and the American Society of Journalists and Authors, to name just a few of the organizations involved, is celebrated even tho every day as individuals we lose more and more personal freedoms, removed from us by a government that lives in fear that it's populous will raise up against it and in the name of outside terrorist they put and more restrictions on us.
Oh well the subject is Banned Book Week. Libraries have always banned certain books they feel the town or parents would not approve of. Some of those in 2011 have been;
