Veteran's Day derived from Armistice Day (The end of World War I), after the second Word War and the numerous undeclared wars America has participated in it became better to go with the generic title of Veteran's Day. In keeping with the tradition of giving tax payer supported people as many holidays as possible so they will continue to vote the "right" way come election time Veteran's Day, because it falls on a Sunday which is a day off for most people, will be celebrated as a holiday on Monday for schools, governments, and banks. But regardless of the day it is celebrated Thanks you Veterans.
