Free tire drop Off for Wicomico county

Wicomico County Residents: The landfill on Brick Kiln Rd. in Salisbury is allowing Wicomico County residents the opportunity to drop off up to 10- tires per vehicle on September 14,2013 from 8 am to 3 pm. For more information contact Steve Chamberlain at 443-978-0427. This will be FREE OF CHARGE



WICOMICO COUNTY CITIZENS SCRAP TIRE DROP-OFF DAY

Get rid of your old tires for free!

Salisbury, MD

– Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt and the Department of Public Works announce that on September 14, 2013 citizens will have the opportunity to dispose of their old scrap tires for free. Wicomico County residents may drop them at the Newland Park Landfill from 8am to 3pm.

This event is for Wicomico County
residents only (tires will not be accepted from commercial entities or business vehicles).

Passenger, agricultural and light truck tires will be taken. Tires may be on or off rims.

Up to 10 tires per resident and vehicle will be accepted.

Your driver's license will be used for tracking and proof of residency.

The Wicomico County Citizens' Scrap Tire Drop-Off event is sponsored by the Maryland Department of the Environment and Maryland Environmental Service. Once the State limit of tires for this event has been collected, any additional tires will only be accepted at our regular tire disposal rates.
