Principles and Kim Davis

Like most things in life situations are rarely black or white, so it goes with Kim Davis, the Clerk in Rowan County Kentucky, who refuses to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples due to her principles and belief.

On one hand you can say it is the law of the land she has to issue the license.  If she doesn't where will it stop?  Will another government person refuse a gun permit when they don't believe in firearms?  Well they already do that it just isn't the way the  media would like to portray things so you don't hear about it.

On the other hand Kim Davis is standing up for a principle she believes in.  It is refreshing to hear this as usually the media only gives attention to the liberal side of the news.

 Can you violate the law of the land and be right? of course you can, if Rosa Parks had not violated the law and stood her ground, Black people would still be sitting in the back of the bus.  You have to stand for something in life or you will end up like the pansy-ass politician who will say anything you want to hear and stand for nothing.  Perhaps that is the reason why Donald Trump is leading the Republican race for President.

At Christian post http://www.christianpost.com/news/kim-davis-and-rosa-parks-144627/  Wallace Henley puts it this way;

"Kim Davis had the same three choices. She could have complied with the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, which had been affirmed by Kentucky governor Steve Beshear, and issued the licenses to homosexual couples. Or, Davis could have gotten "off the bus" by resigning her county clerk position. Third, she could have followed the example of Rosa Parks, and refuse to budge. Which is what Davis did."

and I agree with him and she stood for her values and went to jail.  The court system gave in and released her.  She won.  Invalid marriage licenses are now being issued thru her office but not signed by her.  Let's face it same-sex marriages are a farce and it is time to send this message back to the courts.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke

Since I view President Obama and his minion as evil I always come back to this quote from the book "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts

"The world is run by one million evil men, ten million stupid men and a hundred million cowards...There are only one million of them, the truly evil men, in the whole world. The very rich and the very powerful, whose decisions really count -- they only number one million. The stupid men, who number ten million, are the soldiers and policemen who enforce the rule of the evil men. They are the standing armies of twelve key countries, and the police forces of those and twenty more. In total there are only ten million of them with any real power or consequence. They are often brave, I'm sure, but they are stupid, too, because they give their lives for governments and causes that uses their flesh and blood as mere chess pieces. These governments always betray them or let them down or abandon them, in the long run. Nations neglect no men more shamefully than the heroes of wars....and the hundred million cowards..they are the bureaucrats and paper shufflers and pen pushers who permit the rule of the evil men and look the other way. They are the head of this department, and the secretary of that committee, and the president of the other association. They are managers, and officials, and mayors, and officers of the court. They always defend themselves by saying that they are just following orders, or just doing their job, and it's nothing personal, and if they don't do it, someone else surely will."
